Very well prepared for our arrival, as well as aware of my birthday. Thank You very much for the birthday gift! The Staff is one of the best in the entire world. Very welcoming, very friendly, very open minded, very understanding, very kind, very thoughtful, very worldly, very versatile, very careful, very caring, very classy. Especially the young front man from the reception, the elderly gentleman from the bar/restaurant and the lovely valet. The building of the hotel is phenomenal, worth visiting and admiring. It deserves for every one of each compliments. After entering it, you won't want to leave it. A real piece of history. The spa and its Ladies are out of this world. I felt well groomed and pampered. A true feast for both, the body and the mind. It was like a luxurious journey through time. It's official. No matter where in the world I live, I will always come here for my birthday. We loved everything. We came for the F1 weekend and this was the perfect place to have as a base for 4 nights. Easy access to the Francorchamps track and at the same time it's a quiet lovely village and the cottage is in a cul-de-sac and SO QUIET! The cottage had everything we needed, breakfast was yummy, water pressure is amazing in the shower, parking space right outside the front door, and the hosts couldn't be more hospitable and friendly. There is a heated swimming pool and a lovely garden even though we didn't have time to enjoy it, we did check it out and loved it. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for a night last summer on my way to the UK, and virtually at the last minute (due to unsure travel plans) booked for one night again this year. Last year the only gripe I had was that the room TV wasn't tuned. This year, no problem; an array of possibilities on offer from free TV to Prime or Netflix, etc. I was very impressed by the hotel last year, and this year is no different. Excellent fine food (a mix of haute and moderne cuisine) in the restaurant, relatively economical for such a high standard of cooking and presentation. Again, a nice mix of hotel residents and local (probably regular) customers at dinner (the terrace was actually full when I arrived in the afternoon), very family friendly, with good service and, sitting outside in the garden terrace, a genuinely lovely ambience. And once again, an excellent room: very clean, very tidy, fabulous bathroom, very comfortable bed, fast WiFi, and nice touches like an Nespresso machine, free mineral water, and some yummy toffees. And, of course, a functioning Telly! This really is a great place to stay for a night, or even more. It is out of the way, in the middle of the countryside, and you need a car to get there. But it is worth it! Prices vary, of course, and it can be expensive under certain circumstances. But it is still fantastic value for money, and I will try to stay there again next August for a night on my way to my annual holiday in the UK. Even just the Chateaubriande in the restaurant makes Ferme d'Ecavéé well worth a visit!!!

Wonderful hotel in the pretty Belgium town of St Vith. Everything about this hotel is top-notch. The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Check-in and check-out is automated and efficient. We never saw the proprietors but they communicated with us via e-mail about our reservation and the check-in process. Location in the center of town is very convenient to shops and restaurants. Wonderful breakfast. Coffee and wine available in the comfortable lobby in the evening. Parking right outside the door or in a private lot. Great location for exploring the northern Battle of the Bulge area.
