The room was very nice and the beds quite cozy. We came in very late but that was not a problem at all. The room is well equipped and the sitting outside very nice. The breakfast is very good and a lot!

The location made our trip memorable - right on the St. John’s Harbour and walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants in Historic downtown. We walked everywhere, using our hotel as a base - including to the Battery. We loved the little coffee shop in our lobby, great atmosphere, modern, very clean, and our bed linens and toiletries all smelled amazing. Free parking provided in their parkade.

All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a kitchen area with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee, tea kettle and dishwasher along with dishes and some extra little treats. They welcomed us to feel at home and we were able to heat up some soup for our supper to eat right there. There is also a large sitting room for guests to use. Breakfast was excellent. We could choose between a Continental style breakfast or a full hot breakfast, all included. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Great welcome. All the staff we spoke to were happy to help in any way they could. Room was spotless. Full kitchen and lounge area, with a balcony. If you couldn't find something, it was in the cupboard. Truthfully, we could have lived there for weeks. Great base for the northwest. Make time to go to the Grenfell Interpretation Center - awesome.

The Tides Inn was our last night splurge at the end of a two week visit to Newfoundland/Labrador. A bit more expensive than other places we'd stayed, but well worth it. A wonderful place to stay. Great view out over the inlet from the room - all rooms have the view. Robert (co-owner) was so friendly on reception with great local dinner recommendation. Room was well equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely. Self service but with a good selection - bacon, sausage, eggs, cereals, toast and pastries.
