This place is a beautiful but rustic spot next to the Amazon river. The food was very good, usually fish from the river. At night the jungle birds and frogs sing you to sleep. It’s not a place for the squeamish, we had a tarantula on our ceiling, but the mosquito nets work well and you really get a chance to be surrounded by the Amazon rain forest. The tours they offer are very reasonably priced, but there are also plenty of places to just hang out and enjoy the nature. The common areas were very social and we had some great conversations with the other guests. Also, the staff was especially welcoming and made us feel at home right away. It was really cool to be able to talk to people who live in the Amazon and hear a little bit about daily life here. Overall, this was a huge highlight for us.

The hostel is great and the location is near the airport which is super convinient! We enjoyed our stay and Marcela & Ali were really kind and helpful with everything. Hotel Yurupary AMAZONAS is located in the centre of Leticia - Amazonas, The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a tour desk, luggage storage for guests, free WiFi, a sun terrace with an... Nice hotel! Check-in was easy, and the room was great! The shower was your standard shower in colombia, but what was unusual (and awesome) was that the room had A/C! The room also had a mini fridge with really cheap drinks! So unusual, usually those are crazy expensive haha. The breakfast room was a little tricky to find, but once we found it it was great! Lots of food and juice options. There's a pool as well but we didn't wind up going in. Great little hotel and it had A/C, would definitely stay here again!
