The beach is near the village and you can go there by your car and it is quit and very clean and beautiful.

Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in El Alamein, the 5-star Porto Marina hotel offers luxury accommodation, a lagoon-style pool and a variety of health and beauty treatments at its wellness centre. We had a really wonderful stay at Porto Marina Resort & Spa. Long story short: this visit was an unprecedented one, given that I've already been to many countries in the globe (both for work and pleasure), including the USA, Japan, China, many famous tourist European countries like France and Italy (also non-touristic ones like Germany :) if you know what I mean), and gulf countries like KSA and UAE. The property we had was/is (costly but) spacious, extremely clean, very comfortable, and well-equipped. I understand this might not be the case for every reservation or property available, but in our case, we had a suite with our own Internet connection, a clean microwave, 2 big TVs, 2 air conditions, a hairdryer (that works cold and warm), and the other needed stuff. Our property has unique views of the beach, the sea, the lake, and the pools. We literally wanted not to ever leave the place, except that we'd have missed the many, many interesting, wonderful morning and nightlife activities. The staff is helpful and caring (we particularly thank Ms. Nour for her follow-up from minute zero to the last minute, the reception staff for their prompt response, and the restaurant staff for their hard work and dedication --by the way, the restaurant is very nice; I'd encourage guests to at least reserve a breakfast). It was worth it; Thanks, Porto Marina! I hope you keep it always up. This is my best review to you, but I think a different review will not do you any good when I visit again (which I will do, at least to check my review's integrity and try another perspective!)
