Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. LOVE EVERYTHING! Had a perfect stay in Miyama Ouan. From the staff,food,onsen and so on. It was a long drive from Kyoto to Takayama and when the bus arrived from the last station the free shuttle for pick-up is already there waiting for us, probably due to heavy snowfall at that time, THANK YOU! the resort is just a 5-10mins walk from the station but its impossible with all the snow. All the staff are kind and accommodating, they always make sure that your stay is comfortable and pleasant. Love their Yakuta, they let you chose which design you like. The room is spacious ,clean and the view from the bath is great. the onsen is perfect with a bit of snow falling . the view from the restaurant every breakfast is unparalleled. Thank you Miyama for giving me an unforgettable winter experience. Will definitely come back again!

If you want to stay in cozy and quiet place, highly suggest. 15 minutes from the historical area, 20-25 minutes walk. There is playground for the kids that is not far from the house with beautiful views. Also want to mention that the owner is so hospitable and everything in the house is very clean and comfortable! We visited this place in winter and we were even given warm pads. It’s so considerate! Highly recommend!

Bathroom in the room is well equipped and decorated. The public outdoor hot spring was so nice and relaxing. And there’s also a free private indoor hot spring that was very nice too. And I really like that the hot springs are 24/7. Meals were so good and all the staffs were so friendly and helpful.

We traveled with our curious, adventurous 23 month old daughter. The home itself is stunning. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have needed (and more!). Such as espresso maker, filtered water, comfy clean towels. Every corner of the house reflects the host’s attention to detail and pride of ownership. Live Takayama is the definition of japanese hospitality. We were welcomed with a few personal touches that made us feel right at home — a handwritten chalkboard sign, super friendly dog - Coco, and helpful tips for things to do in the area. It’s rare to come across a space that feels both luxurious and homey, but this place struck the perfect balance. Location was perfect as well — quiet, safe, and just minutes from everything we wanted to see and do. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and already planning our return. 2024 Renovation house hanasaki nabízí ubytování v centru města Takajama. Hida Minzoku Mura skanzen se nachází 3,3 km odtud a Gero Station 49 km. The owner was super responsive. I have absolutely zero complaints about the accommodation. Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect for walks into the old town, Miyagawa morning market, Takayama Jinya etc. The owner also operates a coin laundry just next door. With state of the art washing machines, it was super convenient.

The free parking is truly appreciated. Furthermore, the entire property was very cozy. Had everything you would want. A fully equipped kitchen, a TV with Netflix and YouTube, and the heaters were very good so it never got cold even during the peak of winter.
