The hosts were amazing helping arranging car rental, even though we were late with booking. Delicious homemade meals made with local produce giving a real taste of Yakushima. The location was really great with things to explore and experience in both directions from the pension. The house was beautiful, and there was really nice glass art and drawings made by Yuki (host) through out the pension. The hosts were eager to share tips about things to do, depending on the weather. We have nothing negative to say about this gem in Yakushima. 10/10!

We had an amazing stay! The glamping site is peaceful, right by the river, with beautiful views and nature all around. It’s perfect for relaxing or being active. The place is pet-friendly—we stayed with our cat, and the owners’ dog was super cute and friendly. The owners and staff were kind and helpful, giving great tips about local activities. The room was spacious, clean, and well-designed, with a lovely walk-in shower. We loved the terrace and small garden for privacy and views. The outdoor shower was great after exercise. Breakfast and picnic options were delicious. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend for couples, families, or friends.

Yamato inn - Vacation STAY 86368v poskytuje ubytování v destinaci Amami. Amami Marine Exhibition Hall se nachází 18 km odtud, Yanigawa Shopping Street 23 km a Tida Mall Shopping Street 23 km. It's called "Yamato Inn," but this is a holiday cottage not an inn. We (5 of us) stayed for two nights in May and we loved it. The house has a bedroom, futon mattresses for the living room floor, and a folding bed next to the kitchen area. It's quite tight to fit 5 people but we didn't mind. The house had everything we needed including a well-equipped kitchen with tea/coffee and bottles of water, a living room with a lovely handmade wooden coffee table, and comfortable beds. In the entrance hall, the hosts thoughtfully provide beach equipment (BBQ, tents, snorkelling gear) and torches for night safaris -- during which we found many rabbits!! There's a very nice garden with a deck and lawn. It's such a pleasant place to sit and relax. The beach is about 100m from the house. Perfect. The young couple who own and manage the cottage are really friendly and helpful. They have worked hard to reform the house, and they deserve to succeed. I hope many more people will stay... We will stay again as soon as we can!
