Relatively close to Matsumoto and Nagano, but great if you look for a peaceful and quiet location

Shiroganeya is a traditional Japanese minshuku. Our host Maki-san was truly exceptional. She made sure our family of 6 were well-fed, well-rested, and well-prepared for our little hike to the main Togakushi shrine, which is a 7-min drive away. The dinner prepared for us was superb as well - at least 7-courses! I liked that the house itself has a lot of history. Dinner is served with precious chinaware that are more than a century-old, but still in very good shape and colour. There is adequate heating throughout the house, especially important for a cold winter stay. Maki-san also had a stash of toy cars and trains that kept our boy occupied. There’s just so much to rave about this place. Hopefully we’ll be back for a second visit!

Takimi Onsen Inn that only accepts one group per day se nachází v destinaci Nagiso a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na hory. Jen 9,1 km odtud je Otsumago. Onsen with snow falling in was just incredible. The food, the warm hospitality, and the white snow just completed the satisfaction of the stay. Everything is there.

The architectural beauty was unmatched by any hotel I stayed at in Japan. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They did not always get it right but by golly, they got everything right all in all. The food was exemplary and the onsen was good. I plan to go back.

Hakuba Echo Hotel and Apartments se nachází v centru čtvrti Echo Land a nabízí pohodlné pokoje s výhledem na hory. Location near Happo, convenient store & Echo Base camp about 200m. Room quite spacious for 4 of us. Sound proof. Friendly & kind staff. Helped us with luggage. Delicious breakfast with several choices. Fresh oranges & apples are great. Shuttles to Happo & Hakuba 47 every morning. Nice place to walk around and many cafes nearby. Heater were helpful at winter.

B&B Hotel Hyochoan byl otevřen v srpnu 2012 a nabízí jednoduché ubytování v západním stylu. Na pokojích je zdarma dostupné Wi-Fi a na terase si můžete vychutnat pozorování ptáků. Very tranquil place to relax and enjoy the nature. The onsen and Harunire Terrace are not far from the B&B and easy to reach via walk or a short ride (the host could take you there in 5 minutes). The owners are kind and warm. Exceptional breakfast. Definitely will come back ^^

The hotel is located in Asama Onsen, and the surroundings are very pleasant. The room design is comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, with a private hot spring that is incredibly relaxing. Each floor also offers ice cream, juice, and various snacks. The staff service is excellent, and you can tell the food in the restaurant is made with fresh, seasonal local ingredients. The service in the restaurant is also very good. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Hakuba Tokyu Hotel is an 8-minute drive from JR Hakuba Station and a 3-minute drive from Happo-One Bus Terminal. A free 2-way shuttle to both destinations is provided upon prior reservation. The property is well located, clean, equipped with a beautiful onsen, interesting restaurant with traditional Japanese style cuisine and wonderful views of the mountains. However, above all else, the Tokyo has an amazing staff. All we’re kind, welcoming and helpful. In particular, the younger gentleman working the ski rental facility was able to answer all of our questions and ensured we had what we needed for a great day on the slopes at Happo One. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sakaeya se nachází v centru termální oblasti Shibu, 5 minut jízdy od vlakového nádraží Yudanaka. Nabízí ubytování v japonském stylu. A truly wonderful experience start to finish. We booked the twin room with private external bathroom (i.e an outdoor relaxation area with a hot tub fed from the hot spring water). When you walk into the room you feel instantly relaxed. Supreme luxury and comfort. Our breakfast and dinner were included, and it was absolute fine dining, some of the best food we have ever eaten (served up in our own private dining room!) The service was second to none, we felt absolutely spoiled every minute of our stay. An unforgettable experience.

Hotel Tsubakino se nachází 3 minuty chůze od nádraží Yudanaka a nabízí vnitřní i venkovní termální lázně s výhledem na zasněžené vrcholky hor. Hotel nabízí pokoje v japonském stylu s bezplatným Wi-Fi.... Although I checked in late, the staff was so accomodating. It was a great experience being here during winter. Such a beautiful place
