Candeo Hotels Nankai Wakayama se nachází v destinaci Wakajama. The Museum of Modern Art, Wakayama se nachází 1,7 km daleko a Wakayama Prefctual Museum 1,7 km. That was a great hotel and experience - Japanese bath / spa and Finnish sauna were great. Between 8-11am there is hardly anyone, especially during the last hour it was literarlly empty. Breakfast buffet was good with large variety to choose from. And the room with trains view and sitting area next to the windows were very much appreciated by our 5yo. Parking is a bit non-straighforward but quite convenient in the end - best to park in the 3rd level of the Starton parking from which you'd just walk through the terrace / mall to the hotel's elevator. Don't forget to give a parking ticket to the hotel staff for a discount stamp whe parking overnight.

Located in Koyasan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 高野山 宿坊 常喜院 -Koyasan Shukubo Jokiin- offers free private parking. All rooms include a flat-screen TV. Sleeping in the temple is a beautiful experience. It combines the facilities of a nice accommodation with the opportunity to participate in the morning prayers and eating vegetarian food. The room vas very spacious and with two heaters which kept the room temperature comfortable. Outside our room was cold since it was snowing.

Hotel Kirinosato Takahara se nachází pouhé 2 minuty chůze od poutních cest Kumano Kodo zapsaných na seznamu světového dědictví a nabízí venkovní i vnitřní termální lázně. The host Jian was amazing and the food cooked by his wife and daughter was exceptional, both for the dinner and in the next day's bento boxes for our day walking the Kumano Kodo

高野山 宿坊 桜池院 -Koyasan Shukubo Yochiin- se nachází v posvátné oblasti hory Koya. Jedná se o historický chrám a ubytování pro návštěvníky. The room was brand new, with tatami floors and garden view. The staff was very welcoming and the morning buddhist ceremony was a wonderful experience (the monk explained the process in english and showed us the shrine afterwards). The public bath was very clean and enjoyable. The food was excellent !

One of the nicest hotels during my stay in Japan. Everything was clean and orderly when I checked in. The room is decorated with beautiful furniture and books. It would be very suitable for someone with movement disabilities and extremely comfortable for someone without.

This clean and well organised house boasts a big comfy bed, huge onsen, washing machine and great littlee kitchenette. The host also supplied bikes for the short trip to the supermarket

The service was incredible from beginning to end. A staff member was already waiting at the local train station to pick us up, and the ride up to the hotel was comfortable and picturesque. The room and on-site amenities were incredibly clean, high quality, and large compared to other hotels that we stayed at. The individual private bath rooms were immaculate, and it was a pleasure experiencing the onsen with the complimentary drinks. Both meals that we experienced were great, the traditional Japanese breakfast was very good, and the multi-course dinner was very high quality and shared the region's specialties. The rice served was the best that I had anywhere in Japan, and a staff member even kindly made our leftovers into a rice ball that could be enjoyed in our room. I would recommend this location to anyone staying near Kyoto or Osaka and looking for a high-quality trip into the mountains.

The Onsen! It had private hours for inn guests. I also appreciated the clean, modern cabin. Yusuke and the whole staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, even offering a shuttle to and from Koyasan twice per day. Beautiful valley. there is a bridge that allows you to get down to the rivers edge to enjoy the water.
