Mount Phousi je 3 km daleko.... I felt at home from the moments I stepped in the Garden House! Immaculate clean apartment, very large space. The hostess is the warmest person I have met in the whole SE Asia. She has hired very service minded staff and they are always ready to help. I got so much better service than if I had checked in a regular hotel. We really appreciate we were assigned a ground floor apartment so my husband didn’t have to climb many stairs with his bad knees. We also have been served the best breakfast we have had in whole Laos. Delicious and always freshly made. Homemade jams and homemade soy milk! We couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a place to recommend to everyone I know. P.S. you are welcome to pick fruits and veggies from the garden - it is a lovely thing we were allowed to do.

The Luang Say Residence is an absolutely stunning hotel and a perfect place to stay while exploring Luang Prabang, Laos. We had such a memorable experience, thanks to the impeccable service, warm atmosphere, and beautifully maintained grounds. The property itself is gorgeous: a peaceful oasis with lush gardens, a sparkling pool, and a serene atmosphere that invites you to unwind. Breakfast is served at the scenic on-site restaurant with views over the gardens. We highly recommend trying the traditional Lao soup: the local chili oil was a delicious touch! Our room was spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. The four-poster bed, cozy sitting area, and luxurious full bathroom made us feel completely spoiled. The turndown service and soft robes were just the cherry on top. Every detail was taken care of, from the helpful shuttle service into town to the availability of tuk-tuks, laundry services, and anything else we needed. What truly makes the Luang Say Residence special is its people: warm, attentive, and full of heart. We’re so grateful for our stay and would absolutely love to return someday!

The 5-star boutique resort is a 15-minute drive from the airport. Included in the room rate, Le Palais offers free beer and wine from 9 AM to 9 PM daily during your stay. The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.

The hosts were extremely polite and helpful, they managed so many activities and transfers for us - tickets to Vang Vieng, shuttle to and from airport, scooter, laundry. The room was great, we slept really well, the AC worked just fine, the breakfast was nice. Overall, we felt great.
