But the Garden House is not only a place to stay to explore the city & its surroundings, it’s a destination in itself. It’s a wonderful experience to take part of this inspired project. The breakfast room windows capture the misty morning mountains like a painting. The generous outdoor kitchen allowed us to experiment with Lao cooking. Incredibly, we could add the organic produce from the garden to our plates. The lovely host even offered a papaya directly from the tree to my mother - this is the kind of moments you cherish forever… The list of things to adore here is endless - thank you so much for creating this place & giving us such a warm welcome! Extra thanks for helping us (super efficiently on WhatsApp) with everything from charcoal to the barbecue to sticky rice steamer to transport.

The Luang Say Residence is an absolutely stunning hotel and a perfect place to stay while exploring Luang Prabang, Laos. We had such a memorable experience, thanks to the impeccable service, warm atmosphere, and beautifully maintained grounds. The property itself is gorgeous: a peaceful oasis with lush gardens, a sparkling pool, and a serene atmosphere that invites you to unwind. Breakfast is served at the scenic on-site restaurant with views over the gardens. We highly recommend trying the traditional Lao soup: the local chili oil was a delicious touch! Our room was spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. The four-poster bed, cozy sitting area, and luxurious full bathroom made us feel completely spoiled. The turndown service and soft robes were just the cherry on top. Every detail was taken care of, from the helpful shuttle service into town to the availability of tuk-tuks, laundry services, and anything else we needed. What truly makes the Luang Say Residence special is its people: warm, attentive, and full of heart. We’re so grateful for our stay and would absolutely love to return someday!

The 5-star boutique resort is a 15-minute drive from the airport. Included in the room rate, Le Palais offers free beer and wine from 9 AM to 9 PM daily during your stay. The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.

Timeless elegance and breathtaking views of Mount Phousi—La Résidence Phou Vao is Luang Prabang’s most serene and storied royal retreat. Gorgeous property overlooking the valley and town. Staff/ service is wonderful. Also enjoyed the pool and delicious food. We had a lovely suite with a huge balcony and separate bedroom & living room in which they set up 2 extra beds for our kids. It was definitely spacious enough for the 4 of us.

I love everything of this Hotel. The location is prefect. Daily morning market is outside of the hotel. The night market are just 2 mins walk to the junction. When we arrived at the Hotel, we were given a welcome drink and fruits. The Host Lisa speak good english. Great Job done Lisa. We will be back in future.
