We went to Kayaam House for part of our honeymoon to Sri Lanka. It was perfect! So gorgeous and serene. You're right on the beach - the beach is peaceful - there is no one on it and it stretches as far as you can see. When we were there, the waves were too big to swim but walking along the beach was still lovely. The pool is gorgeous! Perfect temperature and big. Loved it! The rooms are clean and fresh. Great having the smart TV too. Our room was facing the beach so we could hear the waves at night (sometimes they break quite loudly!) - so it was helpful that they supplied complimentary ear plugs. The food is great! And the staff are wonderful. They also host meditation and yoga classes in their outdoor hut by the pool every day - we did this and it was such a lovely way to start the day.

An amazing hotel surrounded by beautiful nature, filled with the sounds of birdsong and the peaceful melodies of the environment. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a full board package, and my favorite dish was the Sri Lankan prawn curry at the Turnstone restaurant. The service was incredibly friendly, and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. A special mention to Harsha at the main restaurant, who took excellent care of my drinks and was always warm and welcoming. I also tried the Indian head massage at the hotel spa, which was deeply relaxing. The therapist asked how I was feeling and ensured the pressure was to my liking, making the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel has a large swimming pool set in the heart of nature, perfect for daytime relaxation. Throughout the day, I only saw about 10 people there, which made it feel peaceful and exclusive. I especially enjoyed sipping fresh coconut water by the pool – a truly refreshing experience. The room was very spacious and had everything I needed, including a minibar, coffee, and tea-making facilities. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at this hotel and would confidently recommend it to my friends. I will definitely return.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had been transported into the pages of a storybook. Iggabara Hobbit House is located in a peaceful, rural area surrounded by rolling hills, paddy fields, and tropical forests. The setting is serene and secluded, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The drive to the property itself is an adventure, with scenic views and charming villages along the way. The Hobbit House is an architectural marvel designed to resemble the cosiness. The attention to detail is incredible – from the round doors and windows to the curved walls and rustic decor. We stayed in one of the Hobbit-style rooms, which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the room was equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning and a private bathroom, all while maintaining its magical, rustic charm. The meals at Iggabara Hobbit House were a highlight of my stay. The kitchen serves delicious, home-cooked Sri Lankan meals made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Dining on the terrace, surrounded by nature, was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast, which included traditional Sri Lankan hoppers, fresh fruit, and tea, was the perfect way to start the day. The hospitality at Iggabara Hobbit House was warm, genuine, and heartfelt. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and their kindness added to the magical atmosphere of the place. They were always available to help with anything we needed. At night, the property is lit up with fairy lights, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. 15 minutes by walk or 5 mins by Tuk Tuk, and you reach the Turtle beach and some local restaurants.

Choosing to stay here was undoubtedly a great decision. The room was perfectly equipped with everything we could have possibly needed – from a hairdryer and water to a flashlight, making it very convenient. The bed was comfortable, the mosquito net was a thoughtful touch, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and made us feel completely at home. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The food was outstanding, and the hotel’s beautiful garden added an extra layer of tranquility to our stay. However, the real highlight was the unexpected sight of deer wandering around the back of the hotel. We also arranged a safari through the hotel, and it was an experience we won’t soon forget. While we weren’t fortunate enough to spot a leopard, the safari was still thrilling, and Yala National Park became our favorite spot in Sri Lanka. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience!

Very healing and relaxing sound of the ocean. Next time i will book it for more days !!

Perfect for nature connected people. We wished we could have stayed longer.
