This 5-star hotel is situated in a historic palace. Quinta das Lágrimas offers 3 room types: Palace Rooms once accommodated the Duke of Wellington and Garden Rooms overlook the botanical garden. It was very luxurious. Staff were all so friendly and so helpful and accommodating. We had a beautiful room , bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and the breakfast was delicious

We loved every minute of our stay and were very sad we were only staying one night. Angela and her team are incredibly attentive and welcoming. We felt like we were staying with family or friends! The room was so clean and well presented, very comfortable bed and loved the decor and nice homely touches. Some lovely outdoor terraces for the guests to lounge in too. We also had dinner in the restaurant on arrival which was our favourite meal in Portugal so far! Everything is so beautifully cooked and flavourful! Then the breakfast was just as great the next morning! Angela took care of us throughout our stay and we are so grateful for the helpful tips and suggestions for our onward journey. We can only hope we get to stay here again!

Dostatecne prostorne, vse, vcetne kuchyne, plne vybavene. K dispozici bazen, gril, terasa. Nadherne prostredi. Velmi mila pani majitelka

The owner was super nice, we could go kayaking on the river and the generous breakfast was brought at our door in a basket. Highly reccomend staying here in the peace and quiet

I liked everything about this place, it's a family business and the people in this place are so nice and welcoming, the place is very clean and hospitable, many people come to eat at the restaurant which has amazing food and big portions, the staff is wonderful and I wish I could stay longer, the surrounding area is just pure magic, for anyone that loves nature in abundance don't miss out on this place. The rooms are not huge but they're just what I needed, I really really loved this place I would definitely come back. 🔅🙏💮

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hostel. It feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hostel if you reserve a private room. The room was impeccably clean, very comfortable, and breakfast was quite satisfying! The owners were also so thoughtful and kind, and take amazing care of the property! Even though it was a little rainy, the hiking nearby was really pretty, and it’s easy to hike or drive to explore a few of the schist villages from Lousã. We’d be thrilled to return!!
