Piilijärvi Camping se nachází v destinaci Gällivare a nabízí soukromou pláž, vybavení pro grilování a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Piilijärvi was nestled beautifully in the woods and next to a lake. The cabin was well equipped and comfortable, and would have suited us for a longer exploration of the area.

Located by Mount Luossavaara, Malmfältens Folkhögskola offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi and a TV. All guests have access to a shared kitchen and lounge. Because the room we'd originally booked hadn't been cleaned, we were allotted a bigger room - actually a small apartment - as there were no other rooms available. This was done immediately, without any quibbling - we were very impressed that we were not just asked to wait while the original room was cleaned. As we ended up staying at the Folkhogskola for 5 days instead of 2 (because of train cancellations) we very much appreciated this - the apartment was particularly good value. It was warm, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. The location is very quiet, and the reception staff were always very helpful, too. There's also a room next to the reception where you can leave your luggage. We had time to explore the local area (away from the town) and found some lovely walks.
