Situated next to the Umeälven River in central Umeå, this hotel is 800 metres from Umeå Central Station. It offers free WiFi, a lobby lounge, as well as free access to a fitness centre and sauna. Very cozy and clean sauna, kind people, location was also perfect, center of umeå and you can buy your stuff at the supermarket next to the hotel. The gym was a bit tiny but pretty enough for upper training.

We have planned long awaited Northern Lights trip at Kiruna as this year there are lots of activities on sun and have greater chances and views of Northern lights. We have decided to do road trip from Södertälje to Kiruna but as the distance is approximately 1300 kms which would requires 15 to 16 hours and we decided to have break journey with nice overnight stay in hotel and then I found this. Great hotel just off the E4 but was surprisingly quiet given its beside a very busy road. It has ample parking spaces. We had a warm welcome by Kristofer the owner. Check in was quick and simple by girl at the reception. Kristofer is very very helpful in showing our room, the free of charge coffee and tea machines and the water stations etc. The family room itself was very good. Breakfast was nice and mostly fresh. This central Umeå hotel is just 50 metres from the Umeälven River. It provides free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant and bar, as well as modern rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. We stayed in a Mystique room, and we really liked the bath tub and the coffee machine. The breakfast was delicious!
