Billion Views certainly lives up to its name - we really can't emphasise enough how spectacular the views are from just about every angle. A particular treat was waking up on our first morning and seeing the thick mist slowly rise as the sun rose, and all the spectacular mountains come into view. Chompunut is the consumate host, and is willing to share her recommendations for exploring the area (including some great hot springs about an hour away) and also arranged for us a great day-trip to the nearby National Park. We enjoyed her delicious home cooking for both breakfast and dinner, and she was kind enough to share some Thai cooking techniques before dinner in the form of a mini-lesson, which was very sweet (and informative). We felt sad to leave such a fantastic place, and the sheer majesty (and peace and quiet) of this location will remain with us for a long time.

Our Jungle Camp – Eco Resort is nestled in the heart of Khao Sok National Park, Surat Thani Province. The restaurant was top notch (with food from the organic farm on-site it was hard not to be excellent). The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful - we booked all of our excursions through them and they were some of the best of the whole trip.

Located only 2 km from Grandfather and Grandmother Stones, The Spa Garden features an outdoor pool. This resort offers comfortable rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. The staff were very nice, the place was well kept and clean, they provided housekeeping daily as desired and did a very good clean including fresh towels. Rooms were very spacious. You had your own balcony and there was also a pool which was nice to relax by.

Loved the pools, the comfy beds, big room, bathroom and huge porch, the chic open air bar and restaurant, the gardens, the ambiance, the breakfast and dinner, the delightful concierge welcome of Philippe, the owner and designer, and his staff. Outstanding service. This gem of a hotel is worth a visit to Koh Samui. Skip the beaches and just hang out at Baan Sawan!

Prana Resort Nandana boasts a stunning beachside infinity pool and a second pool surrounded by shaded palms with a swim-up bar, Aqua pool bar. Beautifully kept premises all around. 2 lovely pools to choose from. A very handy office room to do a bit of work. Great breakfast/ restaurant facilities. Above all, the staff were excellent, friendly, and genuinely caring.
