The property is so beautiful and sets in peaceful preserve where giraffe, zebra, kudu, porcupine & wart hogs roam freely yet very close to the town of Hoedspruit where you fly into. The meals were most delicious. If you are in a hurry, tell them.. because meal times are designed for an “experience” so embrace the charm. We tried eating out in town and also had a breakfast during one of our excursions and felt cheated by not getting to dine at Safari Moon. Gourmet breakfast is included and the dinners have several choices & are more than worth adding to your stay…..the genuine gift of hospitality exudes from everyone working there almost feeling like family & treating guests like royalty .

It’s located in the wildlife estate and you will be able to see so many animals and even walk next to zebras and giraffes. But also the lodge itself is one of a kind, beautifully designed and decorated with a lot of information about the surrounding area. The hosts were also really really helpful and kind. I wish we stayed longer and we will definitely come back.

This place stood out in that being a boutique size meant that we received great service in a relaxed setting. We saw all of the top five and often at very close proximity. We also saw two bonus cheetahs. At night you could hear lions roaring near by during the full moon. The food was delicious and plentiful. The pool was refreshing on a hot day. The bed was very, very comfortable and the glamping tent has all that you need. Would stay again and recommend to others.
