Melbourne Airport (MEL) Information
Location and Transport
Located 14 miles (23 kilometres) north-west of Melbourne’s CBD, Melbourne Airport (also known as Tullamarine Airport) is the second-busiest passenger airport in Australia and its only major airport that is open 24/7. You can get in and out of this great hub by travelling on the Skybus Express, which operates 24/7 and departs every 10 minutes. Public buses (SmartBus Route 901 - Routes 478/479/482) are a cheaper but much slower option, while taxis cost around AUS 60, including the compulsory airport departure fee.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
The standout facility of Melbourne Airport is its 18-hole golf course, which includes a green that places players less than 60 metres below passing aircraft. Less extreme facilities include airport parking, a vast duty-free shopping area, luggage storage and even a pet hotel. If you’d like animal-free accommodation, however, there are hotels located next to the airport, and more options available in Tullamarine.
Terminal Information
All four terminals are connected by a single terminal precinct (except for Tigerair, which is just a short walk away), meaning passengers can easily walk between connecting domestic and international flights.

The room was very tidy, with good amenities.
The water pressure in the shower was unbelievably good. The bed was very comfortable.
The only thing missing was cutlery and crockery, which made it very hard to eat food.
We arrived late at night and the owner left the key under the mat for us.
Very good.

Beds and lounge area were clean and good for our group however if there were other people staying at the same time the use of the single bathroom and toilet would have been very tricky. Limited parking especially as it is on a corner. Close to shops and cafes.

It was a pretty disappointing stay.
It was a pretty disappointing stay.
There was no microwave or toaster and light fixtures were broken. The layout isn't very family friendly despite being called a family room. And the staff dont return room calls. The bedroom doors ate also not flush.
The cost was not reflective of the quality.

This motel is a great place for travelling workers.
This motel is a great place for travelling workers. We were there only to help our daughter move home into a nearby suburb so only needed somewhere to put our sleepy heads down. I wouldn't recommend it for that 'special night' away.

The reason for our trip was to attend a 100 year birthday located in Sunbury Vic.
Our bookingbwas changed by Liv from Digger's Rest to Huntley Lodge 250 Lancefield Road Sunbury Victoria.
The accomodation is rustic but comfortable, country living, city style. OIt is the cottage picture seen from Kiwi's workmstable.
Note this is a historic location where the film Ride Like a Girl" was produced. It is the location where Michelle Paine prepared for her Melbourne Cup win.
The stables still have Kiwi's work black boards marked up.
All are curently intact, but developers are circling like buzzards.
This site needs heritage listing to preserve the entire property.
Others who vsit will surely share my sentiments.

New slippers were at the front door.
New slippers were at the front door. Fresh milk and bottled water were in the fridge along with tea and coffee provisions on the bench. Kitchen set up well for cooking. Plenty of space to move around in. Big screen t.v. that was easy to use. Heater was excellent and again easy to use. Plenty of quality toilet paper supplied, shower excellent, towels supplied were of good quality. We arrived a little earlier than we had arranged, but allowed to go in anyway which we appreciated very much.
Close to supermarket and eating facilities.
Didn't like the bath mats as they didn't soak up any water, and the coach was very uncomfortable.
All in all a pleasant stay.

A good experience, friendly owner, and a good resting environment. The house is very neat, beautiful and spacious. Because we found that there was no hair dryer in the house, the owner provided it to us as soon as possible. A great experience. Highly recommended. I will introduce it to my friends. I will definitely come again if I have the opportunity.

Braybrook is a lovely Holiday Park.
Braybrook is a lovely Holiday Park. It is usually quiet with well-kept gardens. Staff and the two dogs are always happy and helpful. The cabins are well maintained; linen is always clean and cleaning staff always glad to help if you need extra linen or such. Reception staff are always welcoming and glad to assist if you need directions for buses or local knowledge. There is a good mix of cabins and caravans, and the park is well set out. I always enjoy coming back to Braybrook.
