Clean, breakfast people did a great job of bringing fresh items & cleaning. It was quiet. Lovely gentlemen at front desk was kind & lent me a kettle for tea in my room.

The hosts were very hospitable, most helpful, and so interesting! Their home was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The well-designed, lovingly tended garden was a delight! Breakfast included their own produce - eggs and fruit - from the garden, and was exceptional! This b&b is a gem!

No breakfast served. Had hospital apt and only had 5 mins from hotel to get there. Staff friendly, comfy beds, access to fridge and micro, Early check out allowed cards to be left in room. Hours 7.00am to 10pm but instructions clear for outfits those hours. Would stay again.

Nice rooms, liquor store on site, and close to downtown. The staff were helpful and let us park our motorcycles in front of the lobby doors so that there were an extra set of eyes.

The person I first dealt with, was not exactly friendly,...
The person I first dealt with, was not exactly friendly,especially when I came back to let him know we weren’t staying in a room that stunk of weed.. he didn’t even apologize,just wanted to know if I wanted to cancel the reservation. I told him that I wasn’t cancelling, but wanted another room. I complained to the manager in the morning, but I would not recommend this hotel to travellers.

Genelle is really a suburb of Trail…halfway between...
Genelle is really a suburb of Trail…halfway between Castlegar and Trail, so there are no facilities there. You have to go into either town…Trail is a little closer… if you wish to eat at a restaurant. We ate at the golf course, food was good.

Really didn't stay long enough to give a full evaluation, but there seemed to be good facilities in the town to just about satisfy most needs. Little concerning as we must have heard major sirens (could not see front and our room faced a hill) at least 5 - 6 time thru the night.
