You check in and everything has been thought out as explained online from small stuff like shower gel to important needs like fast internet. Quiet and calm. Daniel is very helpful and so are the two kind gentlemen who were around. Clean and organized. The room has good air conditioning, perfect for the hot summer when I was there. It was worth it for me.

The house was perfect for a friend group gathering! Nice sound system, nice lighting, and lots of space in and around the house! The hosts were very friendly and helpful as well! 10/10

The original accommodation became unavailable after the previous guests broke one of the beds. The host offered us another accommodation. The second accommodation was offered as 2 rooms and a sofa. I guess i thought as the first accommodation was for 3 rooms the host either had a sofa bed or would refund part of the payment. Neither happened. The first night my husband had to sleep on the floor. There was also no additional bedding given for the people who had to sleep on the sofa. I did accept the offer of the second apartment and I was grateful not to have to find someone else last minute. But I was slightly disappointed

The house was gorgeous. Hot tub and massage chair were super relaxing. Perfect size for a couple or even a small family traveling. Many amenities close by. Many restaurants. Park was super close. All in all very happy with our stay.

I love Gatineau, it was my childhood home.
I love Gatineau, it was my childhood home.
It is very beautiful, however, with all the construction, long weekend traffic & Ironman rally detours unbeknownst to us tourists, plus a couple fender benders, traffic was horrific for getting around.

Ottawa has a lot of great things to see , many fantastic museums. I was there for 5 days and wish I had stayed longer to have time to see mor.e Definitely go on a river cruise. I particularly enjoyed the Canadian Museum of History across the river in French speaking Gatineau, Quebec and the fantastic Canadian War Museum.

Gatineau has a long history as the entertainment centre for dull-after-dark Ottawa. Did not fail this tme as the Duvernay is near Gatineau centre- bars and restaurants, fabulous Canadian history museum, a pleasant walk across the river to centre of Ottawa, much more reasonable accommodation

Attention - the Parliament is in terrible state (from the outside, because it is under MAJOR renovations. So don't expect to be able to take any impressive pictures. There are also renovations being made on many buildings downtown and you can already see a certain modernization, as well as preservation of some beautiful old buildings in the downtown core - which actually looks really great and is very interesting and fun to see. We just loved the National Art Gallery and their exhibits, as well as the Canadian History Museum in Gatineau. We had a great time exploring the Rideau Canal and different areas of the city.

Gatineau has so many things do!!
From going to the museum of history to see all the exhibitions and activities they have there. Then enjoy outdoor activities at the Gatineau park doing cycling, hiking, walking looking to beautiful scenery views at the lake Pink!!. Then finish you journey a great restaurants ad bars.

it has some nice features - lots of parks! We walked everywhere, couldn't get into the parliament building no matter how often we showed up there - we really wanted to see a bit of how parliament works.
Food is much more expensive than in the US and we only ate at maybe 2 places - not very good, food is kind of bland and very expensive. We went to Ottawa to see the Louise Penny event at the art center for the launch of the Black Wolf - she is amazing - we've read all of her books.
There were few actual cafes and the few we stepped into did not have any appealing treats, Ottawa does not at all feel like a "foodie" town
