Their guide Owen was very helpful too, assisting us with our medical needs and taking care of us by talking to the doctor and even bringing us medication. He was very knowledgeable and did a phenomenal job showing us the local wildlife during our tour. Ana Rita and Owen were truly amazing and we appreciate all they did to make our stay very enjoyable and comfortable.

They offered to put our rain soaked clothes in the dryer, we left for lunch, by the time we got back, it was waiting in our room and already folded ! The lodge is located between the river and the ocean, so you get the best of both worlds. The hosts were so accommodating and made all of the reservations for our tours as well as picking us up in La Pavona and shuttling us in the boat back and forth to town. The morning canoe tour with Manuel was our favorite tour so far.
