Forsthaus St Hubertus is a little gem. It is our regular stop when we (frequently) visit Lübeck. The city is about 5 miles from the hotel and there is a regular bus route with a stop about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The bus takes you all the way into the centre of the city. Hotel is situated on the edge of a wooded area and rooms are quiet. Breakfast caters for most tastes with a varied selection of food. When arriving, the owner was more than happy to help with carrying the luggage up the stairs. There are 3 excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.

The property is very spacious in a cute little neighborhood in the outskirts of Lübeck. The apartment is walking distance from the train station Lübeck Sankt Jurgen. The neighborhood is so quiet. The owner picks up the phone everytime if you need to call about something, and the cleaners were so friendly too. The owner has a restaurant in downtown Lübeck so you can drop your luggage there after check out. It got a little cold during my stay but the heaters worked well! Very clean property as well and the garbage system is intuitive. Lidl is a 4 minute walk from the property and is open until late.

The apartments are located further from the city center, but are easy to find. The apartment is tidy, clean, comfortable, and suitable for a larger group or several families. We found everything we needed for living and cooking in the apartment, and there is a grocery store and gas station nearby if you need anything else.
