Apartment in a very quiet area, very well equipped, towels available, all dishes and appliances (toaster, coffee maker), even a paper towel or baking paper was available.
Good wifi.
Host nice, helpful.
We were with our two dogs who were welcome.

The owner of the apartment was really nice. We were allowed to sit outside with him and enjoy the fresh air. Close to it there is a Netto supermarket and bus stop. The apartment is clean and quiet.

It's on the beach, the restaurant served delicious evening meals, the staff were helpful and parking wasn't a problem, either. The best ice-cream parlour is nearby, just up the road, as well as an EDEKA supermarket, the tourist centre, coastal path, bar, lots to see and do.

I spent 9 weeks in Wilhelmshaven in 2025, over the course of six months. The harbor area is excellent and has historic bridges, the Naval Museum, waterfront, aquarium and several great bars / restaurants.

The kitchen provided cooking equipment, but we ate in The Butte in Jever (fresh fish) and Die Brücke in Hooksiel (exciting menu with superb, sheltered outlook over water).
The friendly, helpful hosts suggested nearby walking paths.

The Naval museum was an excellent few hours spent. Wilhelmshaven is a beautiful place with a nice promenade and restaurants.
I wish I could have stayed longer to further explore. maybe next time will.

The beach is well maintained with controlled tides.
The beach is well maintained with controlled tides. The main attractions are Kaiser Wilheim Bruecke, Marinemuseum, Aquarium and the restaurants located just on the beachside. It is worth for a two night stay.
