We had a lovely room with a view of the airport. The bed was super comfortable, there was a big tv with lots of channels, which was great as we both were feeling unwell. Good shower too. The airport is a stroll away. Downstairs there is a restaurant where we had a fresh tasting asian style tofu soup. Just what the dokter ordered.

I had a wonderful experience at this guesthouse near Budapest Airport . The room was very clean, warm, and comfortable. The owner was extremely kind and offered me transportation from the airport to the guesthouse and back, which was very convenient. The location is quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a restful stay.

My luggage was delayed, so I needed a place to stay. It's close to airport (5 minutes via Taxi), late check-in available. Room is clean, sheets are fresh, free coffee and tea in the room. I wa even greeted by a nice chocolate. For a short and urgent stay - perfect. Transfer to airport also available by owner.

Veces is an hour away from Budapest by public transport by bus and metro, but it is very good in terms of proximity to the airport. Nearby there is a central market with various shops and a Tesco, about 25 minutes on foot.

We were just passing by before heading to the airport and because many of the hotels were fully booked because of the New Year celebrations, we chose to stay here before heading to the airport in the morning. This was perfect place to stay within some 15 minutes driving distance to the airport rental car returns.

Rarely any true restaurant in Taksony (other than fast food) was open during late hours so we couldn't find a place to eat. And when we found one (Roro Falatozo) they didn't speek English. But the food was good.

Its a nice quite place.
Its a nice quite place. Little bit away from the bus connections that's good if you want peace and quite. Good to spent night to catch a flight next day. It will be great if a shuttle service available to and from airport. Taxi normally cost 10 Euros each way.
For amenities there is a small shop nearby and you can get to LIDL, Tesco etc. by 15mins walk. There was a local bakery on the main road which has bake fresh breads and coffee.

3 nights were just right for a first visit.
3 nights were just right for a first visit. We have managed to see all what we wanted and walked a lot on foot.
We were surprised by the number of restaurants but also by the queues for a place. Definitely plan at front and make bookings where you can.
That applies for the baths and restaurants.

A big shopping mall is walkable from the hotel if you need to buy anything. It's a cinch for anyone who travels by air and has to walk all those concourses and gates. The hotel restaurant menu is quite good. The Superfood Salad is amazing. The airport shuttle is so convenient and quick.

We spent 6 days in Budapest and filled every moment. The "Shoe Memorial" by the Danube was the most poignant; the "Terror Museum" the most instructive, and an evening concert at the Liszt Academy the most delightful. Our dinner at Meshuga was the best restaurant meal...ever.
