When did my booking, I was a bit doubtful, but trust me when I say this , from the moment I entered the property, I knew it was going to be a memorable stay , starting from the owners of the property kushal and their so lovable and friendly behavior, they make you one in their family , the house , the kitchen , the greenery, the most adorable staff , the location from airport, everything was simply amazing. The amazing food cooked by bharathi ma and seema , it reminds you of your moms food and trust me of you stay here , you will definitely not miss home food , they are so caring that when they did not see me on the second day as I was out with my friends , they called and messaged me several times to know my well being . If you want a home away from home , I strongly suggest you should visit Himmat Guri Farmstead. The trip was already an unforgettable one as it was reunion of our school mates and the stay has made it even more memorable. Amazing place with lovable people, serenity and more amazing food .

Very neat and clean hotel. Staffs are polite and prompt in action. Furniture, linens, walls, washroom, all were very clean. Even the 2 bedded room has wardrobe. Foods are very good and serviced in room within few mins. I also booked a triple bed room and the extra bed is very big. Cushions are very comfortable. It is very near to Bagdogra airport. The receptionist booked a cab in time and we reached airport within 5 mins. I would like to give 5 stars in all aspects. I shall must stay there in future if I board in flight in Siliguri/ Bagdogra. It is a budget hotel for all.

All the things are very good...The building is in good position and all the things are very close from Mayer anchal like Airport, Railway Station...and many other places are too close like city centre,cosmos,vega circle etc ...and the food is also very good ...the room is clean and good .the bathrooms are clean ..the staffs are also nice... again I will come after 1 month and will stay on rooms of Mayer anchal...Thank you to the manager and staffs and a special thanks to the Malik of the Mayer anchal for serving us with all your efforts...

Location and Transport

Bagdogra Airport is a small airport set under 6 miles (9 kilometres) from the city of Siliguri, but it’s the main hub for reaching Darjeeling (40 miles/65 kilometres away) and Jalpaiguri (30 miles/48 kilometres away). There’s a pre-paid taxi booth in the airport and it’s best to arrange this beforehand, rather than negotiate a price with a driver. A taxi to Darjeeling will cost around INR 700–850, while a journey to Siliguri will cost about INR 225.

Going back to a place where I was born and where I studied my 9 , 10 , 11 and 12 standard, the peak days of my life , well it was a reunion of my class and this place even though has completely changed in the last 20 years , stil has the nostalgia and probably I would not be able to put it in words

Very neat and clean food is good but in less quantity according to price is much expensive. Lift room swimming pool and moving area excellent restaurant good. Staff was very aware to host guest. Finally it was nice stay.

I stayed overnight in Siliguri to avoid the risk of travelling from Gangtok the next day at 4 am, and possibly missing the flight, even though Wizzride assured me that their vehicles would reach Bagdogra airport in 4.5 hours from Gangtok.

Dusty and with Traffic jam. The city centre mall was good. And an eatery in Mallaguri was excellent. Trips to Mirik and Bengal Safari were nice. Rest was disappointing. Don't recommend anyone for this hotel It is not worth paying 4000/- per night for this below average hotel. Had I known the location I would have never stay there.As I mentioned except the reception people who were helpful ,nothing else was good . Although quite interior, especially from the Bagdogra Airport, the location was peaceful, with greenery on all sides. Although we paid Rs. 220/- per person for dinner (which I think is slightly more for a property such as this), it was tasty and more than sufficient.

The hotel was ideally located for connections with Bagdogra Airport and New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for the Darjeeling toy train. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The hotel was excellent value for money as was the breakfast selection. We arrived late so did not try the dinner selection. There was a comfortable bar connected to the dining room which was very welcome after a long day of travelling.

Location was good. Right on the main road. Rooms are rather small but clean and comfortable. Restauarant was nice just behind the reception. In the restauarant Dhawan Das, Steward was very helpful and well informed. Hotel is only 15 km from Bagdogra Airport. Great option for overnight stay on the way back from Sikkim or Bhutan and at the time of late arrival to Bagdogra airport.
