Beautiful location with a clean and comfortable cabin. Yard games in the cupboard, and heater in the patio. Birds were common and close (including Ptarmigan), and foxes could be found a short drive away at the right time of day. Close to whale watching and scenic sights in Myvatn. Bilberry growing in the yard in the right season.

Laxhús se nachází v Laxamýri, 85 km od Akureyri. Na místě je soukromé neplacené parkoviště. Husavik je vzdálený 8 km. Všechny apartmány mají TV s plochou obrazovkou. Everything was as described. I loved the cabin :)

The guesthouse is really nice, surrounded by a nice garden with a greenhouse, with a view of a waterfall and a lot of nature in general. The kitchen was just next door and well equipped, but we also had a small kitchen area in our room! And I was really happy about the hot chocolate powder with marshmallows waiting for us there :) The room was really nice and comfortable. We would definitely come back here if we return to Iceland!

The location was perfect in close to Husavik. The view over the harbor was very nice. It has everything we needed and then some. Good communication before and after arrival. The location is above a supermarket but you really did not notice it. But it was very convenient if you needed anything. The washer/ dryer were great.

Located in a historic house in central Húsavík, Árból Guesthouse offers free parking and free WiFi access. Whale watching trips depart from Húsavik Port, only a 5-minute walk away. The room was very nicely decorated. The common room had coffee/tea supplies and was very cozy. Most of all the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was an absolutely wonderful place to stay.
