Afternoon sundowners from the pool with a view to some dunes were a highlight of the trip. Fantastic location, inside the first gate to sossusvlei. Easy to arrive at the park early in the morning and avoid the crowds. Friendly and helpful staff, always eager to help. Food was very good, especially the braai night. Can’t wait to come back.

We stayed for two nights in Desert Quiver Camp. The facilities are top notch and the location is very near to the Sossusvlei park gate. The BF and Dinner options at the Sossusvlei lodge was amazing. The sunset from the Camp is the highlight. Overall a wonderful and memorable stay.

Located in Sesriem, in Namib Desert, Desert Camp offers luxurious self-catering units, with private bathrooms. Only 5 km away from Sossusvlei Lodge, it features an outdoor pool. Location is very convenient - about 30 minutes from the gate. The cottages small, but very nice. The view from the cottage was unbelievable. I would recommend 100%

Le Mirage Resort & Spa is a unique desert oasis located 100 km from Solitaire, Namibia. It offers luxury accommodation and gourmet dining. Great place to stay, highly recommended! We stayed 2 nights to visit Sossusvlei. You can view the sunrise and sunset by fire place. Also possible to have balloon fly of sunrise behind the hotel, in the morning we job to the backside and go up the small hill and the view was great, at night, you can have amzing milkyway after 5 course dinner which is sunrising good and fast. We did not expect this at our first stay in Namibia, it was the best start you would wish for.

Our guide, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, which made the experience even more meaningful. Everything about Hoodia Lodge felt deeply personal and special. It’s one of those rare places that touches your heart — a place I would return to in a heartbeat. It truly felt like home.

Offering a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant.... Very friendly and helpful staff. The tours were also thoughtfully planned. We enjoyed this stay the most during our time in Namibia.
