We had an excellent stay - the grounds and location was idyllic while still being close and an easy drive to get to everything. The place was well appointed and plenty of room for 4 adults and a little one - the playground in the gardens was an absolute bonus too!

The new motorway has made Tamahere quite accessible.
The new motorway has made Tamahere quite accessible. The shops around shut early. Tamahere village has beautiful shops, bar & restaurant and bakery. Hamilton city centre on one and Cambridge on the other side of Tamahere are both around 12-15minutes drive.

It was a nice rural setting, however it was a bit too far from shops and cafes. The property was unclean and facilities were poor. The hosts were pleasant and helpful. We stayed for one night and that was enough.

This is out in the country, 8 ks from Ohaupo and 13 ks from Cambridge.
We stay in this area as it is close to a rest home in Ohaupo where my wife's brother is in care. The name of Kaipaki would be unknown to most travelers in NZ

We couldn't fault this in any way. The hosts were friendly and respected our privacy. We actually stayed two nights - a Sunday and then went back on Thursday night. Dinsdale was easy to get around and there were numerous places to eat out. We were there mainly to visit family who lived close by.

A new and upcoming suburb. Lots of lifestyle block homes and a new complex with food choices & amenities. So handy to main arterial routes. Minimal noise pollution considering proximity to SH1 & airport

What a beautiful place to stay...totally recommend this ... the room was just beautiful...like a luxury hotel.
The bed was amazing...best nights sleep in a hotel ever! Lovely homemade shortbread to go with our coffee.
Plenty of parking. We drove to the Propeller Restaurant and Bar at the Hamilton Airport for a meal....not far and was well worth it...beautiful meal and service.
Breakfast was awesome and hosts just lovely.
Would definitely come back one day.

The lake and the riverside walks are great places to spend time, and the Botanic Gardens and Hamilton Zoo are perfect for family day trips. Lots of shopping options if you are that way inclined. Convenient to other scenic spots around the Waikato region such as Hobbiton, Lake Kainui, Pirongia, and many more.

Cambridge is a beautiful town.
Cambridge is a beautiful town. Growing larger but retains its lovely main street with good angle parking and a roomy pull out lane. Love the many shops and good places to eat. Many side streets to explore and the lake is a beautiful place for a walk.
