Easy to find and run by a wonderful manager - Mihi. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel very welcome. There were secure facilities for our car and bikes (we were doing the Twin Coast Cycle trail).

The owners are really helpful and friendly, and provide a fabulous freshly made healthy breakfast. The stewed plums, picked from the garden, are just amazing. You won't regret staying here.

Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.
