Loved the location! The beds were super comfy and we had really good sleeps. The unit was spacious for us all and we loved watching the harbour from the front patio.

We absolutely loved the place it had a really homely feel to it and wasn't hard to find anything, there wasn't enough time to enjoy the whole place as we had things to do whilst we were there, and didnt get to go kayaking but am definitely going to do this again in the next month or two. The host was really cooperative in guiding us to the house as we couldn't see properly due to arriving really late and was very nice. 5 stars for our stay

The view over the valley was lovely, the tiny away is tiny, but it is your own space and it has a lovely little outdoor area. The host was lovely, he greeted us at arrival and suggested AH Reid walk which I highly support the recommendation. If you like being out of town a little and not in your standard accommodation this place is perfect. Also the place was spotlessly clean and quiet, we slept so well.

A luxurious getaway in a fabulous location. Great amenities and every detail is well thought of. Lovely hosts who'd give you adequate privacy but always help in need. Great comfort and facilities. Lovely welcome from beautiful Vanessa, Paul helped on setting up outdoor fire pit. Fantastic beds, kitchen equipment, etc. Immaculate design in every little piece of the 3 bed home. Great pool and hot tub. Great walk around in the garden. Good breakfast comfy linen. Just all you need of comfort on a holiday, we would surely come back.

Aimee was happy to help as far as she could around check in and out times which was very helpful especially with 2 children.
She provides unexpected extra luxuries, such as bottled water, along with a very clean but welcoming atmosphere. Super place to stay.

Would really recommend this community.
Would really recommend this community. Had the cutest coffee caravan just on the beach front and the community in general seems so nice and quiet. My family live in Onerahi so was a quick drive there for family dinners.

Everything was ideal.
Everything was ideal. We were attending the Young Mariners of New Zealand National Regatta. Because we are older it was perfect to stay in a comfortable place only 4 minutes from all the activities and not to have to sleep in a tent.

We enjoyed relaxing at the riverside - restaurants, cafes, attractions such as the Hunderwassen centre, the Clapham Clock Museum as well as people-watching in the sunshine overlooking the river and marina, as well as walks along the riverbank. A peaceful, relaxing environment. We enjoyed a couple of nice restaurants in Quality Street but then discovered the Grand Thai and Indian Restaurant at the old Grand Hotel - such a lovely couple - very welcoming and great food - we went back for more.

Great location, and cute little place.
Great location, and cute little place. The interior had just been painted shortly before we arrived, so we had fresh paint fumes and some mess to put up with. Curtain in the bedroom fell down as it wasn’t affixed properly after painting. Cleanliness was the only issue - fridge vegetable bins had not been properly cleaned (hairs and food debris), cockroach in kitchen, and bed quilt had stains (makeup?). We note that previous reviews for this place. also comment on cleaning. New carpet but doors binding. Not what’s expected for $500 per night but I’m sure these things can be easily fixed and the experience will be great.

A fabulous beach two hours from Auckland!
A fabulous beach two hours from Auckland! We'd driven past but never stayed. Bream Bay is gorgeous. Ample facilities for a great week at the beach! Good coffee from Bach Cafe at Ruakaka Beach. Fantastic sausages from the Ruakaka Butchery next to the Fresh Choice!
