Booked as needed an overnight stay as close to the airport as possible. These apartments are 5 min taxi from airport (i paid 90php via grab desk at arrivals). Concierge also booked me a taxi back to the airport the following day. Immaculately clean, superb pool, aircon in both the bedroom and living room, plus a decent shower with HOT water. It felt like a home from home given the living area, tv and big bed - sheer luxury after a month backpacking 😂 Host was also very responsive and provided snacks/ coffee/ bottled water in the apartment with an honesty box to pay. This was a nice touch 😊 5 min walk of the main road and a selection of restaurants/ cafes too.

This feel is made stronger by the truly outstanding staff. They are kind, hospitable, warm and supportive, but very professional, and strive to accomodate all guests' needs. The hostel is new, so it features brand new aircon and smart TV. For its proximity to the international airport it is perfect for a short stay before flying elsewhere, or for a pause after arrival.

A restaurant downstairs or walk 5 minutes. easy access to transport, Tricycle, taxi, bus. laundry and convenience store downstairs. easy transport to most attractions in Cebu City or resorts in Mactan. There is a Starbucks and mall close by with an easy walk.

We went to Mactan for a wedding and caught a 'Grab'...
We went to Mactan for a wedding and caught a 'Grab' taxi from the airport to the accommodation for about A$15. We had a room with a view to the sea, but could also see the housing of the locals, which contrasted to the fancy hotels - so sad to see the living conditions of locals. The area where we stayed was rather quiet and was safe for walking without too much traffic.

Stay at another Condo the previous night. That one was a 9 out of 10. That had a far better bed, nice fridge freezer, microwave, lots of utensils, glasses, crockery and working WiFi. This one sadly did not. Best 2 out of 10. Would not recommend.

I love the phillipines been married to my fillipina wife for 15 years now! But in my honest opinion I prefer the province over the city. The city is too crowded, busy bad traffic and a lot people wanting more money and overcharging for everything especially if they see a foreigner. There is only a handful of honest hard working peope if you're lucky!! The real beauty of the phillipines in the provinces. Another tip Always ask around about tour prices In the cabs there's always someone cheaper!! And the best thing to do in cebu is canyonering at kawasan Falls it is worth it. I recommend the highland tours cebu ph, they provide an excellent canyoneering experience! Very helpful attentive and friendly.

More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in...
More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT Park area. I really did not enjoy IT Park because it was just a big mall area with businesses and restaurants and a lot of congestion and noise. The Pusok area was much quieter. More locals which I enjoy interacting with. Easier to get around. There is a mall area but it is not as big or nice as other malls in Cebu City. But I was able to find everything I needed. Some shops close a bit early though. When I return to Cebu City I will probably stay in this area again. I like how close it is to the airport because the ridiculous traffic in Cebu City concerns me when I need to get to the airport. I think the cost of lodging is more affordable in this area. I was always able to get a Grab taxi when I needed it.
