Great 4 night stay for 2 couples spending 3 weeks in the Azores. Peaceful location was out of town, requiring drives to get to restaurants and grocery. We were touring the island by car, so this was no problem. Our only problem was realizing we were to call Carlos (card on the door) to get in! He lives off site, but provided a nice daily breakfast and was very responsive and eager to offer advise and answer questions. We enjoyed use of the washing machine and the kitchen for a couple simple dinners.

Close to both the airport and the Velas port for ferries, with access to hikes, and including a fabulous pool and all the other amenities you could want, this is the perfect place to stay on Sao Jorge. We used the comfortable apartment with squeaky clean linens, cooking and dishware, and patio furniture. Lots of space and surfaces for packing suitcases and feeling at home.
