Excellent stay right in the city center. Our suite was nice and spacious with comfortable double bed. Good breakfast. Sanjar, the owner was great and so helpful, organized us transfers both from Bukhara and to Samarkand, great communication at al times, it was pleasure to meet him in person. He can also help to organize local tours if asked in advance.

City hostel is located in Termiz. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. *the hostel does have wifi, and its quite good. I put this first, because a lot of people may shy away from this place because it says on booking.com that it doesn't have wifi. Hostel is new, so everything is clean. Great showers- both hot water and pressure. Beds are comfortable, especially by 'Stan standards. Only thing I'd like added would be curtains on the beds.

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, very comfortable room with a view of the river and Afghanistan on the other side, Great breakfast and very good restaurants just meters away from the hotel, Lots of shops to buy traditional Afghan items, clothes, tea, saffron and much more ! Very good parking within the Free zone, To get in and out of the Free zone you go through passport check, but it's very fast, it's all within Uzbekistan
