The hotel in itself it,s lovely, but what really impressed me was the staff, so professional and attentive, they made me feel incredible. Easy access to the city lodge and the fact that the kitchen was on at after 10pm when whole of airport restaurants couldn't serve food due to power outage.

Protea Hotel by Marriott O R Tambo Airport is situated in Kempton Park, 3.5 km from the O.R Tambo International Airport and and 1 km from the Rhodesfield Gautrain Station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and neat.

Dove’s Nest is located less than 2 km from OR Tambo Airport and offers a free airport shuttle. It offers a breakfast room overlooking the garden and spacious guest rooms. Nice for overnight stay close to the airport. I arrived quite late and was picked up with no problems and was immediately taken to my room. I had forgotten to ask what time breakfast ends and came 10 minutes after the finish time, but the lady from the kitchen waas very kind to quickly make me some scrambled eggs and what's left of the breakfast items. Check in/check out was a breeze, payment at the property was very convenient, and the shuttle back to the airport runs every hour.

Airport Inn offers a free shuttle service to and from OR Tambo International Airport, 4 km away. It was my second stay, for this price it's a decent choice.

This hotel offers modern rooms with flat-screen TV and an outdoor pool in a cosy courtyard. The location and the breakfast are the best part on this accommodation. The room was a bit noisy in the morning (we stayed in the first floor) because the windows are old and don't seal properly… but ok… we woke up early so that wasn’t a real problem. The staff are friendly especially the guy who helped carry the bags. I recommend this place!

I needed a place to stay for my mother as there was a problem with her international flight, and she will only be flying out the following day. We needed an affordable and comfortable place close to the airport with an airport shuttle service and came across Airport Guest House. Within the quick rush of reserving and paying for the room I phoned the guesthouse to organize the shuttle and Gugulethu immediately assisted. The airport shuttle was able to pick my mom up in only 7 minutes and I was informed by Gugulethu that my mom arrived safely and will be in good hands. Thank you for the friendly and efficient service.
