The rooms are fantastic—spacious, well-designed, and the addition of a small kitchen with a full-size fridge is a great bonus, especially in the city centre. Everything was spotless, and the A/C kept the air fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The location is, of course, unbeatable, sitting on the top floor of St James Quarter. Parking was an absolute breeze—you simply park in the main shopping mall’s underground garage, where there are plenty of spaces. It cost only £26 for two nights after getting the ticket validated at reception. If I’m not mistaken, £26 is the maximum charge, meaning even for a week-long stay, you’d only pay that amount as long as you don’t take the car out.

Braid Apartments by Mansley is set in Edinburgh, 1 km from Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Edinburgh Castle is 1 km from the property. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Very nicely upgraded property located in the heart of Edinburgh. 15 minute walk to the castle and 5 minutes to the train station. The apartment was spotless and very modern, with exceptionally comfortable beds. The front desk personnel were very helpful and it’s nice to get daily maid service. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Edinburgh
