The fresh bread and butter on arrival were a lovely touch. Alexander is a fantastic host—always quick to respond and very helpful. The location is perfect, with a beautiful garden just outside. I’d happily stay here again when I return to Edinburgh.

Walk outside the door and you have the view of the castle. WOW! Had some trouble getting into the luggage room, I rang the owner and he sorted it straight away. If I come back to Edinburgh, I don’t want to stay anywhere else this was perfect! I would recommend everyone to stay here.

Very modern hotel in an excellent location with a view of Edinburgh Castle. Walking distance to restaurants, pubs and attractions. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Will definitely be back.
