Everything you could possibly need is available — from a fully equipped kitchen to all modern amenities — making it feel just like home. What impressed me most is that the photos on Booking are 100% accurate, and in fact, the reality is even better! The location is also excellent, perfectly positioned between some of Austria’s most beautiful cities: • Just a short drive to Zell am See and Kaprun, • Close to Salzburg and Innsbruck, • And easily accessible from Munich. A special mention to the lady in charge of the villa and her husband — they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They didn’t restrict us to the official checkout time and made everything easy and pleasant, which added a warm personal touch to our stay. I spent five unforgettable nights at Villa Himms — surrounded by beauty, comfort, and absolute peace. In short, Villa Himms is the perfect choice for anyone seeking luxury, tranquility, nature, and genuine hospitality in the heart of Austria. Enough room to put our stuff in. Apartment is only a couple of minutes from the bus stop but we only used the bus once. We walked to and from the village most of the time. It’s really only a 10 minute and beautifull walk to do. Can highly recommend Kolmblick!!

The apartment is wonderful and Monika and her family are terrific. This was our second time staying here and will likely do it again next time we visit the Zillertal. VAYA Gerlos was a very pleasant surprise for us. First, we were very warmly received at the reception, we received very useful information about the area and the activities and we had a Summer Card for several touristic attractions. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need, including coffee machine, dishwasher, electric oven, etc. The area is superb. We had daily activities, like trips by motorcycle (in Gerlos area and also in Bavaria), going up the mountain by gondola, going to the Krimml waterfall (the biggest waterfall in Europe) and so on. At 5 minutes walking distance, there is a supermarket SPAR and there are several nice restaurants. The location has also a sauna where you can relax in the afternoon. For us is was perfect in many aspects. We will stay at Vaya for sure when we will be back in this area.
