The rooms are tidy and the outdoor area is great for chilling out. There is a kitchen in case you need to cook something or have breakfast. Bicycles are available to explore the island. The host is very friendly and we had a great time in Fare Mahei. You are picked up for boat trips and otherwise restaurants are within cycling distance or the pizzeria is within walking distance. We also recommend cycling to Tiputa pass to see the dolphins. The best time is between 16:00-17:00. We would always recommend the accommodation and look forward to staying here again on Rangiroa. The little house was exactly what we needed. It was 5 minutes on foot from the public beach and 7 minutes from the Kia Ora with a restaurant and bar. It is relatively secluded from other houses, so it offers privacy. The keys were handed out to us soon after we arrived and entered the house. The person who brought us the keys, also helped us to rent bicycles and dropped us in the store to buy water. The host was responsive and forthcoming from the very beginning. He helped us to solve all issues.
