United KingdomEverything about this hotel was perfect. The location (approx 15-min car drive from Durres centre) is away from other hotels in the middle of an agricultural area with beautiful scenery, on a main road into Durres (although you can drive over the top on local roads full of potholes and stones). The staff are all very helpful and friendly, making you feel special. The lady on reception who speaks very good English is particularly friendly. The gardens and pool area are 5* and whilst we were there end of May/beginning of June it was not very busy at all. More people are around at the weekend (local day guests). Horse-riding on site is included in the room rate. Breakfasts are more than enough with eggs, sausage, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, olives and bread followed by croissants and chocolate sauce. We had one evening meal at the hotel (as we like to try different restaurants) and the goat and beef were amazing. We hope to visit Albania again next year and will definitely stay here again.
