Nestled within Taronga Zoo and overlooking Sydney Harbour, Wildlife Retreat at Taronga is an eco-retreat offering stylish accommodation in a relaxed bush setting. Our stay was well beyond my expectations. Initially I was a little worried, as it was a little outside of my price range. I liked the idea that it was nonprofit and sustainable and I thought the proximity of the animals would be fun for my daughter. The staff was amazing...extremely helpful and kind and always went the extra mile to help us to feel welcome. This never happens, but the view was even better than what's listed on the site. We had a room facing the opera house and it was stunning...we also had an adorable koala outside our room constantly. Just like in the picture. Really. There were several extras that I hadn't anticipated...a morning and evening zoo walk and a tour of a little area made available only to guests. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell the zoo was working more as an animal sanctuary. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone. It's also extremely accessible, so my daughter and I were able to use it as a home base for exploring other parts of the city. We often came back with tons of sand between our toes and still had time to enjoy the view and the animals.

We really enjoyed the animal experiences and hearing them "talking" to each other overnight. Supper was superb. Fantastic to have the next day to wander around the zoo.

El Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel ofrece alojamiento junto al mar, a solo 15 minutos del aeropuerto de Sídney y a 20 minutos en coche del centro de la ciudad de Sídney. location was great, so close to all things amazing but not right in the craziness either. Loved the size of the room, bathroom and having a kitchen was a bonus!
