My husband and I stayed for a few days and would have liked to stay longer. We felt at home but in paradise. The house is very clean and comfortable, and after all the expensive resorts, we wanted a place with a kitchen and away from people. In addition to having a house and pool all to ourselves, there is a barbecue and a very nice space to spend the day. My highlight was definitely watching the sunset from the balcony, and the host was very friendly and took care of every detail to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, right in front of the sea and within walking distance of town. We would definitely stay here again.

Jan is super helpful and friendly. The place is charming and had everything you need to cook, spend rainy days inside playing games, go out in the water. Location is really nice and calm, close to the city. There is even a Veggie garden you can use for mint and basil which were really tasty. Kind souls that can make your stay here in Fiji a truly one of a kind experience. Staying at the salt lake lodge didn't feel like a hotel or resort, but instead felt like you got to experience how it would feel to live in a Fijian family. Not only were the people great but the food was extraordinary. They both could be in a Michelin star restaurant with the food they provided. We would also recommend doin LOVO with them, which is a traditional grill on an campfire of which I shared photos of. The location itself for us was also a 10/10 because we love being surrounded in nature, and what ever window you looked out from was the beautiful environment, even from the shower you could see the river. We could not recommend this place more if we wanted to. I hope your experience will be as beautiful as ours
