I loved the peace of the house, loved the quiet and the design of it, so fresh and full of shadow spaces. The pool is delicious. Breakfast is very good. The rooms are private and cozy. Loved the big shower. Very nice house just to stay in and never go outside.

Casa Austera is like living in The Blue Lagoon, I used to dream of it as a kid. It is the beach house of my dreams. I loved the open air hut and the personal fan made sure I didn't get hot. The showers were cool and refreshing after a long day surfing in the sun. The staff were the absolute nicest ever. I asked my daughter if she'd have rather stayed at the big million dollar property in the beach front and she said "no way, the vibe and staff at Casa Austera is the best in Guatemala"

The place was simply amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. The staff welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. The room was spacious and luxurious, the outdoor shower was refreshing and fun, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. It was also really nice that guests are trusted to take drinks freely and just write it down. I highly, highly recommend it. In addition, during our stay there was a power outage in the town. The staff were very accommodating and agreed to cancel the extra night we had booked (even though it wasn’t their fault at all) and helped us arrange a taxi to our next destination. We truly hope we’ll be able to return again in the future!

We booked the 2 persons suite at Manglare. We had a spacious room and a beautiful bathroom, which was open and gave a really tropical experience. There was a shared kitchen outside that you can use if you’re staying in Manglare, also a possibility to put your food/drinks in the fridge. The location is very calm and like a 5 min walk to the beach. El paredon is quite busy and there are some parties, but in Manglare it’s very calm. We liked it. Extra thing is that it is close to the mangroves, where you can rent some kayaks for example. At the end of our stay, we forgot some stuff that was still drying outside. We took contact with Manglare and they immediately were very helpful: they searched for a way to sent us our belongings by express delivery to our next hotel in Flores. Thanks for this service. Highly recommend it!

I had a superb stay at Caracola. The hostel is extremely clean, the beds are very comfortable with nice clean, cotton linen and towels. The double bed is a real bonus. The kitchen is a pleasure to use, exceptionally clean and well equipped. The staff are lovely, from Natalie who checked me in and all the reception staff to the cleaning ladies who work so hard to keep the place immaculate. Beach access and use of the pool at Cocori is an added bonus. A truly memorable stay. Thank you!!

Wander Boutique Hotel v destinaci El Paredón Buena Vista poskytuje ubytování jen pro dospělé s venkovním bazénem, terasou a barem. The staff is super nice. Bed was very comfortable. The pool was a nice size to hang out during the hot day. The food was delicious. The staff helped to decorate the room for a birthday occasion and the picnic basket for the beach was wonderful. Definitely will come back again. We had the Atitlan room, and it has a small balcony facing the pool.

Place looks in reality better than on the pics. Yes, rooms are not big, but all very clean with comfortable bathroom. Hosts are very nice - english speaking and very helpful. Pool is nice and big enough to refresh! Very good value for money!!
