Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort je rezort situovaný na ostrově Siladen v provincii Severní Sulawesi, nedaleko ostrova Bunaken. Nabízí vlastní úsek pláže a celoročně otevřený venkovní bazén. We loved our stay at Kuda Laut on Siladen Island. The location for snorkeling is top-notch, as you can swim right off of the beach into water with beautiful thriving coral gardens. We saw more species of coral and fish than we have anywhere else, as 97% of Bunaken Marine Park is underwater. The resort is into sustainability and gives you a free cup of coffee if you collect a bag of plastic. We enjoyed playing pool at the outdoor pool table, as well as long walks around the island. When it is low tide, one can walk all the way around the entire island. A short walk to a nearby pier provides you with a gorgeous sunset every evening. We would absolutely love to come back to Kuda Laut one day.

The communication is clear and quick and the service is even better! The food is cooking with love and care and is true Indonesian and if you are lucky you will be testers by pizza’s made by the owner out of their own wood oven!

Three Ken Homestay & Cafe se nachází v destinaci Manado a nabízí terasu a bar. Nedaleko se nachází Pláž Pangalisang Beach a Přístav Manado. Three Ken was a really nice surprise. It is located at the prime location in Bunaken, first row. The two rooms are next to each other above the restaurant. The family is a super friendly, they get you everything organized. But the best is really the food, prepared by Mama Inge; really well cooked food with veggies, mostly fish - fresh tuna was the best - not this deep fried stuff… In the evenings the locals always played music, some tourists were joining - big fun! Full recommendation from our side (we stayed there 5 nights, extending our stay in Bunaken) had both rooms: one for my wife and me and one for our two kids.

My stay at The Queen's Guest House was pleasant. The accommodation was very comfortable, with great amenities and a great view of nature. Yuli and Mehdi are incredible hosts who make you feel right at home. I had some amazing dives, and the professional instructors made the experience even better. I also enjoyed making friends and having fun conversations with other guests at the bar. To top it off, the food at the restaurant was amazing. Both the local and international options were very delicious. Can't wait to come back!

My homestay hostess Aci prepared wonderful meals that were well balanced and portions were plentiful. She spoke superb English and was instrumental in securing opportunities for snorkeling trips and all the necessary equipment which was my intended focus. The neighborhood where her homestay house is located provided a true Bunaken Island village experience. Bunaken Marine Park and boat access is right in the back yard as the property is on the water.

MAMALIS HOMESTAY se nachází v ideální lokalitě v destinaci Manado a poskytuje terasu a výhled na moře. Jen kousek odtud se nachází Pláž Pangalisang Beach. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. The room had an amazing view overlooking the beach and ocean. The room was very spacious, had a big bed and a very good fan that definitely cooled the room down enough. The bathroom was simple but worked perfectly and had everything you needed. Mama Lis was the kindest, most caring woman, always looking over my needs, cooking amazing dishes with a lot of variety and always had a very big smile on her face. I felt at home there and would have stayed even longer if I could have. If you want to have breakfast every day overlooking the ocean and the best host I would definitely recommend staying here.

Coco Divers & Homestay Bunaken se nachází v destinaci Manado a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, soukromou pláž a terasu. Pláž Pangalisang Beach je 1 km odtud. Letiště Sam Ratulangi leží 142 km od ubytování. The twin room is beachfront while the double room is streetside. I recommend beachfront, of course, it has a better view but also less noise from the roosters that are across the street. The double room has more indoor space, and big outdoor sofa bench, if that's what you need. It's right in the kampung village, so it's absolutely susceptible to more noise and activity; but it's also closer to the main pier and other restaurants. Lucky is a fantastic host, and the family puts a lot of care into the homestay. It's simple but very clean and cozy. There's many small thoughtful things about the place, it's an easy place to stay. The food is different every day, and it's easy to ask if you do/don't like something. Communication is very clear and prompt. The reef out front is a long swim before you see anything, but it's nearly the same with other places.
