Our stay at TheJungleGuide was fantastic! The staff do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, from organising transport to and from the accomodation, to singing tunes with you at night! The inclusion of a jungle trek in our stay was the highlight! We were taken on a 1 day trek with Wahyun and the absolutely hilarious Bandito who were knowledgeable and so much fun during our trip. The food from the kitchen was nice and gave a taste of the local cuisine. Overall this was an amazing stay that we will definitely be recommending to friends back home!!

One of the best homestays I’ve stayed at in my 4 months of traveling SE Asia. Very comfortable private room with great air conditioning. The staff are extremely helpful with any recommendations or help you may need.

Our stay at Rambai Tree lodges was magical. Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us se nachází u moře v destinaci Bukit Lawang a má bar. Property was clean and overlooked the river view. My stay was excellent, and I also booked the jungle trek with them. It was absolutely amazing, and it was their own business. So it was a small group. Ricky and Anto were great with taking care of us. You should really try this activity! It’s very very worth it, and rest assured you are in good hands.

The bungalow was great. Clean, lots of room and the location is close to Olala restaurant and the village itself. Robi the manager is very helpful and always checking to make sure all is good. Staff were friendly. The snorkelling right of the dock (which is Olala’s but they were fine with Santi using) was fantastic most days. Definitely would return here

Everything was wonderful. The hosts, the staff, the quality of the accomodation, The position. Nothing was a problem. A place to truly do whatever you want with no worries whatsoever. Restaurant good with a beautiful view. Genuinely lovely, responsible and helpful owners. They were always there to help you.

Had an amazing stay at orangutan bungalow Location was perfect, got to see orangutans, Thomas leaf monkey and long tailed macaques on the daily around the bungalow. Beautiful views and far from the hustle bustle of the town Risky and team were super helpful throughout. The gado gado was one of the best I've had in Indonesia. Wifi was far better than I expected.

Snídaně dobrá, personál perfektní. Majitel André nám zajistil taxi z letiště, při odjezdu do Berastatagi sdílené auto za dobrou cenu. Zorganizoval pro nás také 1 denní výlet do džungle, který byl perfektní. Doporučujeme.

From the cute little huts to the super kind and capable staff, we were happy about everything! We want to point out the excellent organization of our pick up and drive by Yusuf, the welcome at the lodge, then the core piece the jungle trekking with Andi who was so knowledgeable about orang-utans and the rain forest. The food at the lodge was great too. Bukit Lawang is a place where things still seem intact and tourists are decent and treated kindly too. If it wasn‘t so far, I would go back in a heartbeat. It was an exceptionnal experience!
