Rinas was so helpful while I was in a stressful situation with my shuttle never arriving. He found another ride for me last minute and saved the day. 10/10 would recommend!

First, he arranged a very good taxi with a professional driver(And also a VERY fair price) that took us from Colombo to his resort. I couldn't join my partner at the beginning of our stay and she was alone for the most part during our stay here. Jazz knowing about it, he and his beautiful family, alongside this beautiful Dutch couple, made sure that she would have the best time with various activity and their warm company. Overall, she really enjoyed her stay. He even managed an expedition for her alongside that couple at night, to find exotic animals. On the last day when I arrived, not only was I greeted with the highest of hospitality, but also an exceptionally delicious lunch(you can trust my taste, I'm an Iranian), which wasn't included in our plan at all. Also in the reviews I saw some people found the route to the beach difficult. From my personal experience, that is far from the truth. The resort is less than 100 meters away from the beach, it's just a simple walk. If I come to Arugam Bay again, I'll choose this place 100%.

We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a family supper on a Friday night which was on the house. This consisted of a delicious traditional curry buffet. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice decorative touches. Thank you Agra for an amazing stay!

Great spot right by the beach. All facilities, including the bar, restaurant, yoga area and beach loungers were great. Pizza was delicious. Hosts were very helpful and kindly provided a cold coconut drink on arrival.

Thank you Mohamed for your kindness and hospitality. We had a wonderful stay. We affirm that it was one of our most beautiful encounters of our trip. The hotel is a small haven of peace very well maintained, its fabulous garden puts us in a relaxing atmosphere. 10m from the beach and right next to the best breakfast in Arugam Bay, the location is ideal. Absolutely stunning, private, peaceful and relaxing. Our whole stay at Blue Water was perfect, the cabanas are cute, clean and spacious for couples. We couldn’t fault anything. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the team decorated our room, what a lovely surprise on entry. Although there is no air conditioning, the fans in the room are sufficient and the cabanas are designed well with openings for a breeze. Rinos is amazing, he was so attentive and looked after all of our needs. He’s really friendly, a pleasure to meet and an excellent chef. Sudha and Dinosan are both phenomenal, they make sure the whole area around the cabanas are pristine, they take so much pride and leave patterns in the sand for guests. There is a good variety of food, the fresh juices are so tasty. We had breakfast and dinner most days and Rinos catered for our tastes. The beach is private and only a few steps away, most days we were the only ones there, it is paradise. At night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Thank you Blue Water you made our stay unforgettable.

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Such lovely cabanas and perfect location! We loved our time at Starfish, the host was super accommodating and helped us with everything from making sure I had a desk to work at to sorting out some TukTuk troubles. The grounds are beautiful with lush green plants and some hammocks to chill in. You’re a super short walk to the beach and town but still off the road enough for it to be quiet. Loved it and definitely recommend!
