The place is very beautiful and quiet. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and clean, and the breakfast (with homemade Bread) was delicious. On top of that, the owners are very sweet and helped us with everyting. Our stay was perfect - even more than we expected!! So if you’re planning to go to Leon or Las Peñitas, I really recommend to stay at Puesta del Sol.

I stayed at Alive Beach House for a few nights with my husband. The location is perfect — right on the beach, very quiet, and not crowded. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and relaxed. We joined the morning yoga classes at a very affordable price and it was really enjoyable. The food at the hotel was also good — fresh and healthy, with vegetarian and vegan options. If you want to relax and disconnect from the busy world, this is a great place. It’s simple but well organized, and we felt really comfortable the whole time

Right on the beach, quiet, beautifully decorated, very comfortable for a 3 night stay. We enjoyed the facilities, food, drinks, and the beach. The staff are exceptional, very helpful and nice. I loved the cabin, the place, and the atmosphere. Everything was very comfortable and well-maintained. The place was clean, well-located, and had everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. I really liked the hospitality, the comfort of the room, and the tranquility of the place. Everything was excellent, I would definitely come back.

If you are in Leon take the time to spend a few days at Las Peñitas at Nuevo NAYAL! It’s stunning and beautifully designed. Everything feels new! The spanish couple who set up this place are so kind and welcoming. They have created a true oasis to escape the heat of the city and I couldn’t have had a better 3 nights stay here to round off my trip in Nicaragua. The food is brilliant as well at the restaurant. I ate all my meals there as they were too good! And the staff went out of their way to help me with laundry and tours etc. It’s definitely one of the best, if not the best place to stay in Las Penitas.

Hostal Ojo de Agua poskytuje zahradu, terasu a sdílenou kuchyň. Pláž Playa El Transito je 1 km odtud. V kuchyni je k dispozici lednice, trouba, varná deska a kávovar. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, quiet and peaceful community feeling. Intact mosquito nets for each guest were a big plus. Great stay overall!

Nimbu Beachhouse nabízí ubytování s patiem, zahradu a terasu. Pláž Playa El Transito se nachází 20 metrů odtud. Některé ubytovací jednotky mají posezení a/nebo balkon. I loved my stay at Nimbu! Such a Great Place with nice staff, everything is really comfy and beautiful. Food is delicious and some variety during the stay. The hostel is small so you can really connect with the people.

The house is gorgeous, and John and Janelle go out of their way to provide a comfortable and beautiful space. Very close to the beach. The rooms (there's only 2) are spacious, comfortable, have great private bathrooms, and you'll want to pay for the AC. There's a kitchen with pots, pans, implements, but you'll have to bring your own food. There's a pulpería just across the street, good for snacks & basics, but better stores are about a 20 min walk away. The road is a much shadier and cooler route to town than the beach, and definitely easier if you have kids. Overall, staying here was a wonderful experience, and we'll return in the future. I lived in El Tránsito in the 70s and early 80s, a couple of houses down from Casa Todo Bueno. Staying here brought back wonderful memories, and we hosted my local Nicaraguan family here one of the days we stayed. They loved it, and we made some great new memories. Plan on staying here for more than a night. The peaceful environment really needs a few days to be appreciated. The upstairs deck and lounge/kitchen area are stunning. Definitely visit the pool at the general's house.
