Set within a cove in Puerto Galera, 1.6 km from Sabang Beach, Edgewater Dive & Spa Resort features an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant with views of the Mangrove bay, and a spa facility. The location, the view and the restaurant is great. The rooms are clean and the AC is good. Breakfast is tasty. But the most important thing is that despite the bad weather we had, they helped us a lot, without the great staff, we would have stuck on the island because it wasn’t easy to find out which ferries were cancelled and which ones are not. They were informing us about all the details, and when the weather became better, they arranged us activities. Richard, the owner is awesome, he put a great team together. You feel like you are their most important guest, even when they are fully booked. This is not just a hotel, this is a resort when they are really there for you. Thank you everyone!! Whaaat a wonderful stay we've had. So wonderful people, Macrina, Charles, Belle (and the guests Gary and Anthony). Leaving after three days and we already take them in our hearts. The breakfast is the best we've had in Philippines (even compared to much more expensive places). Macrina is a cook and an extraordinary one. She adapted for us eating vegetarian and not just anything to check the box, delicious food. We went to the karaoke with them at Macrinas restaurant and had a great night. Lots of laughs. The beach, 3 minutes walk, is great. We went snorkeling and enjoyed it. A stay we just won't forget.

I spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful resort, and I can only recommend it ! The location is perfect if you love nature and tranquility. You will be surrounded by a peaceful coconut forest and have direct access to the beach, where the sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. The staff is incredible : Whether it’s the kitchen team, who prepared delicious meals, or the housekeeping staff, who worked with a level of detail and care that I rarely see. Every time I requested my room to be cleaned, I was amazed by how perfectly everything was cleaned and arranged. But what makes this place truly special is the warm and loving atmosphere. It is run by a wonderful family who treats every guest like one of their own, alongside their friendly pets. I will definitely return.

The rooms are very simple and clean. The cozy restaurant offers an amazing selection of food, ranging from Filipino, Thai, and Western, some of which is personally supervised by Florian. If you have work to do while on vacation, bring your computer. Most of all, Florian was there to guide us on Puerto Galera options and arrange reliable service providers.

We had such a lovely experience during our stay! The staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating from start to finish. Our room was spacious at 60 sqm, spotless, and offered a stunning view of the beach—definitely a highlight for us. While enjoying the beach, one staff member kindly approached us and offered snorkeling goggles, and their lifeguard stayed nearby to watch over us due to the big waves. We truly appreciated the extra care and attention to our safety.

The staff were very friendly and our room was super comfortable. The food and drink at their cafe is delicious and it’s a great place to sit and do some work. They have lots of lovely animals and the hotel is in a great location for diving with Reef Haven - just a 5 min walk down the road.
