The staff was very welcoming and accommodating of our needs: we were late to check-in and they made sure to ask if we wanted to eat at the pub. The room is spacious and luminous with plenty of sockets, an adequate armoire and armchairs and a side table. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower is good. Breakfast was grand, with good choices, from a very generous fry up to an abundant porridge. The last day we had to leave early and they packed us a breakfast roll with a coffee! We also dined thrice in the pub, there is a good choice, food is good, portions are big and the price is very nice. There is also a good choice of beers and a fantastic cider.

The place is lovely, with large and comfortable rooms. Brian, the owner, is very friendly and helpful in any way he can. The kids had a great time and described the stay as a wonderful experience.

Stayed for two nights as had a wedding nearby - staff were excellent and catered to our every need, perfect set up for us as we were travelling with a toddler, room was spacious and had everything, and had a lovely living space we could relax once baby was asleep, breakfast was also great- everything you could want! Would recommend!
