The friendly, accommodating staff. Nice easy feel to the place. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and everything I wanted see and do was in close proximity. The shower was hot, good pressure too. Bed very comfy. Quiet place to sleep too.

Wonderful stay at Anchor house, a luxuriously comfortable bed, spotless room, huge bathroom, delicious cooked breakfast in the morning and very friendly owners. Nice friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. Bar area looked very nice too and so did the outside seating area. Room was exactly what we wanted. Warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. Microwave, toaster and mini fridge, all added bonus. Perfect location for what we needed. We had family staying five minutes walk away. Will definitely return if available when we need it.
