We were surprised to find a van waiting for us at the train station to take us up the hill to the hotel. The accommodations were very nice, with a view of the lake, and the hotel staff was very helpful.

Our stay at the Carpe Diem accommodation was very good. Carpe Diem is a separate flat with full facilities and an individual entrance. The location is almost ideal - right in the centre of Castel Gandolfo. From this location it is close to all places of interest. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Access by car is not very problematic and during our stay there was no problem with parking (public parking for about 4 eur per day). In terms of cleanliness and facilities everything was excellent. The contact with the host was very nice and quick.

The location, is slightly rural (which we liked), but transport links, supermarket, cafes, restaurants a short walk away. Our room is well decorated (as was most of the property), access was simple. The landlords were very, very helpful. The complimentary snacks are a great touch. Breakfast was great, and having access to the kitchen was a bonus.

We had the most amazing host, Silvia. She was very understanding of our situation and agreed to an early check in and later check out. She was very prompt in her responses. She also checked in on us via WhatsApp which I thought was very sweet of her. Concerning the apartment- it had everything we needed. She even supplied more things for breakfast. The tea and coffee were excellent. The balcony was lovely and often sat there to eat our meals and feel the beautiful Roman breeze. Everything from clean towels, essential toiletries, Smart Tv in each room (well air conditioned rooms), comfy and clean beddings, enough wardrobe space, blinds that meant we could enjoy a good nights sleep without any day light disturbance. The vicinity itself was calm and safe and very residential but had shops and restaurants very close, including a very lovely Catholic Church- where we attended Holy Mass several times. It is also close to the train and bus station and there is a direct bus from there to the airport- that was so convenient. No need to spend on unnecessary Taxi trips to and from the airport. It was like a little haven we found in the heart of Rome.⭐️🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Everything in MaMa House was perfect...spent 1 night only travelling via Rome...the most accessible and close accommodation you can get if need reach Ciampino Airport. From Ciampino station which is 1st train stop from Roma Termini you need literally few steps to reach house if not stopping in supermarket or pizza or cafeteria on this small way. The same way back few steps is located Bus station for Airport buses...with all clear perfect explanation from owner Mr. Mauro you have easy going fast comfortable staying and traveling. Room itself is pretty clean warm and equipped with all stuff you could ask for from mini fridge to hairdryer coffee machine with few gift capsules and good WiFi of course. MaMa Guesthouse is for me number one once travelling via Rome again. Thank you 😊

I really liked the place, the view from the window to the lake is perfect, you can watch the sun set, the village is very quiet, 2 minutes to the center, the food is delicious, real relaxation. I would like to live there. I recommend it

Nice and helpful owners. Localisation - in charming, quiet little town, close to restaurants, train station, atractions. Interiors - light, bright, cosy, brings atmosphere of holidays. Amenities - safe ans fridge in the room. Spacious bathroom. Breathtaking view from terrace.
