Honestly, for the sheer size of the room and the complimentary breakfast, plus the fact I had booked for my fiancé and her two children, it was great value for money, especially considering how close we were to the main streets. The History in the building in unreal and is very well preserved. we stayed in “The Great Room” and it was absolutely beautiful and 1 of the oldest rooms in the house. Vijay was so lovely and even though we came in off season, he still made time to show us parts of the house that the guests wouldn’t have access too due to it being in its most original form from the 1600’s. We fell in love with the property, the town and the people. We are super lucky to have seen the town and are even more excited to come back and see it in full swing in the month of October.

The room was really nicely decorated and spacious. Parking was very convenient and enough spots for all guests. A lot of thought had clearly gone into the house in general.

The hotel is beautifully furnished and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large and the room came with nice touches: a bottle of wine, remote skylight blinds, a heated bathroom floor, a plate of cookies in the hall in the afternoon, a list of nearby recommended restaurants, breakfast delivered to the room each morning. We arrived by water taxi from the airport and a young man from the staff met us at the wharf and brought our bags up which was a nice touch. When we left on our final day before the regular breakfast time, the staff made sure to deliver cereal and fruit the night before. A member of the staff came to take our suitcases down the stairs on his day off as the elevator was out of service. The location is perfect for catching ferries to Salem and Nantucket as well as walking distance to several fantastic Italian restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
